This is where Big Blue was first sold in the summer of '68. I tried to track down the building last summer and it's gone. At least, I think it is. The address didn't exist anymore. If I get in the area again, I'll see if it's still there now that I know what it looked like...

I have a 1966 VW Beetle that was originally sold at Humphrey Motors.
My mom worked at Humphrey Motors beginning in the late 60s Jim Close I believe owned it when she was asked to sell cars at the new lot on Mission where she became the 1st Lady car salesman for the town of Hayward selling the 1st
