The Beetle Book

I recently bought this book at my local used bookstore, Copperfield's Books a few months back. I am always fascinated on how the VW bug (Beetle) became such an odd thing in society. It's as if everyone had a different reason for liking (or disliking) the bug. Very few people don't have an emotion attached to the idea of the VW bug. 

This book had tons of great photos of manipulated and abused bugs. I think my favorite is the Beetleboard bugs. How cool would it be to restore a bug with that advertising artwork on the side! Way cool!
