Hall of Shame: February 1991 VW Trends page layout

I know the 80s were a bad time for design. Years from now, the Trapper Keepers made during that time will speak wonders to the overall idea of what was "cool". Pink was in. Triangles were huge, and the term "french-cut bikini" was on the minds of teenage boys everywhere. And, it turns out, they were on the minds of VW event organizers. And attendees.

And VW Trends magazine followed the trend with awful page layouts that featured the worst of the worst. Exhibit A below. Hats off to you, VW Trends. You remind us how much better the scene is now.
